I'm looking for a BC, designed for women and for packing. I can find women's BC's and "travel" BC's, but I haven't found a women's travel BC. It needs to be light-weight and easy to pack for flights on small aircraft that have baggage restrictions. Any suggestions?

Well, at the risk of being labelled one of the hysterical BP/W crowd, I find the harness on a BP/W setup to be very comfortable because of its infinite adjustability. The Deep Sea Supply BP/W comes apart easily, which makes it very handy to pack. Tobin sells a Kydex plate that weighs less than two pounds: http://www.deepseasupply.com/page9.html

My Zeagle Zena folds down pretty small and only weighs about 4 pounds. It doesn't have any hard elements like the plastic tank holder that some have.

My fiancee and I often have to take several short-haul flights to our dive destinations from where we are, and these are usually on budget / low-cost carriers with extremely miserly baggage allowances of 15kg per person. She currently uses a Transpac and so far, she's not had problems with packing or the baggage allowance.

My lovely wife uses the Diva for her recreational diving. Something about fit and support, <shakes head>, must be a girl thing.

She recently picked up the SeaQuest Passport and took it on our last trip. She loves it! And it's amazingly light in the poundage department.

All the best, James

My wife loves her new Oceanic Isla BC. It packs quite well and is a full featured BC. She can use it in tropical water (not much weight needed) or in colder areas. It has back weight pockets. She likes that the shoulder harness can be anchored down on the jacket in different locations. She was really able to customize that so it was really comfortable for her, and for $399.00 it was an easy purchase.

Regarding finding "women's BC" vs "Travel" BC. Most online retailers (Myself included) list their products with certain names like Womens' BC or Travel BC, and we list these keywords with search engines in various marketing campaigns. The point is you may have already searched for "women's Travel BC" but since many online retailers don't list them that way you won't find them :( Just a little online surfing tip :)

Zeagle Stiletto.
It also is orderable in custom colors, like yellow, neon yellow, grape, teal (but not pink).

I just returned from my first trip with my new Zeagle Zena. In terms of weight and space in the luggage, awesome. My buddy just bought a new Zeagle Stiletto (which he loved) but he was jealous about how much smaller the Zena packed in the dive bag.

I've been searching for the "SeaQuest Passport" online without much success. It seems all of the sites that carry it are in the UK. (I'm in the US) Any suggestions about where to look?
