My wife wanted 2 slates so she can "talk" to me underwater, no solitude for me. Ok, so she writes on hers and now we can't get the dang thing clean???? What do we use to clean them?

Magic eraser.

Of course the everything cleaner! Magic Eraser!

You might try something like Soft Scrub as well.

Magic Eraser works wonders!

A drop of Soft Scrub, a thumb, and you're done.

What did she write on it with?

If you use a pencil, sand will often work (right off the bottom, during the dive), else Ajax or SoftScrub.

Pencil, we will try the sand trick when we are in Maui.
