As an update...

I had my 2 injections last Friday. Something's different, just a tad bit better, but I still can't stand straight and not for more than 10/15 minutes at a time. They say, the steroids are slow to act, and it could be up to a month for full impact. I'm still open to being able to be ambulatory again, but I'm not certain that this will do the trick. The last two didn't do a thing, so this is marginally better.
 
Another update: yesterday I took my vitals and they were still great. My pulse is still a bit elevated from my normal bradychardic self, but it's well within human normal. Not bad for an old fat guy...
