Hello,

Does anyone have any info on diving from Wingaersheek Beach?

Wingaerseek Beach is in Gloucester before you cross the annisquam.

I've never dove there, but think I would proceed very cautiously... it is right on the annisquam river and the boats are wall to wall there on the weekends (I was there on saturday) and there can be a very swift current through there.

I will say you can see lot's of 'temporary wrecks' at this site. People anchor in 2 feet of water at high tide and leave for a while. They return to see their boats laying in the sand dry to the prop  They are able to get underway in about 6 hours.

How about Old Garden Beach, Back Beach? There are a few 'family friendly' spots!

thanks
Back Beach might be the ticket.
Need house hold type amenities for family:wink:
old garden does not have these but still nice.
did my ow there lots of fun

You might try Stage Fort Park too. There's a lot of sand, but if you stick close to the rocks it can be an interesting dive, especially at high tide.
