Glass bead.. sand is way to rough...

Yes, was wondering if sand blasting might pit the brass..
I used glass bead and noticed no pitting other than the pit already in the brass from corrosion.
Check this out Jim. You may have the materials on hand to build one and it might tide you over till you get a soda blaster.Glass beading is the smallest medium I can use in my cabinet.. I have a soda blasting unit on my wish list...
