That particular someone also happened to be a diver. May he RIP.

Yeah I know and may he indeed. He also did a piece on why you really shouldn't try to ride mantas and how he got a free vacation out of some agency by promising an article about him trying to do exactly that.

Great stuff.

I may have just seen her at the LDS, with a credit card.

i like this quote a lot. it sort of explain what i feel..

"-what it feel like when you dive?
-it´s a feel of slipping without falling, the hardest thing is when you´re at the bottom, cause you have to find a good reason to come back up."

-the big blue-

It's that delicious moment on each dive when you first submerge and hear the ocean. It's like coming home.

We all spent our first 9 months immersed in water so I wish to propose to the board that the craving to go diving is actually nothing more than a subconscious craving to return to the comforts of the womb.... :-)

Make of that as you will - personally I'd strongly suggest seeking professional help... :-)

Cheers,
Rohan.

Divers are simply a reincarnated form of sea life, we are just living out our previous life form. :crafty:

Yeah, It is on the regressive side of things isn't it ... although - wombs with sharks ... (suddenly receive this flashback of me being born and the nurse asking "hey, what's the viz?")

Or is this just God's way of telling me I really do need to get twin strobes and a housing for my dSLR?

Yes... this is *precisely* what God is telling you to do.

He told me to do the same thing, I ignored him, and look at me now. I *don't* have twin strobes and a housing for my dSLR. Don't end up like me.

:D

Well, things are getting worse. I just sold a saddle to finance my light . . . AND Peter's housing (to keep domestic tranquillity). I'm definitely going over to the dark side.

see, it is an addiction.....just like a crackhead, you are pawning your valuables to finance your addiction..........that is why I like to hang out with other Diveaholics, it makes me feel that this ludicrous behavior and these dreadful financial decisions are sound, because they are all in the same boat too! I don't have a problem, you wackos that don't dive have a problem.
