Another one here chiming in on no buddy. I am traveling with my teen and sister. Sister doesn't dive, teen is bringing equipment, but not scheduled on any boat dives. I hadn't even thought of the buddy issue when booking for the trip! There are so many people going, of all skill levels, that finding a buddy is not a big deal.
So, for those that are on the fence about coming because they don't have a buddy yet, come on! the water's warm and the rum is flowing! :D

And besides, the ladies are planning on ditching the guys ;) one afternoon for a girls' only dive :girl:.

Duke, we will let you serve us chilled champagne after the dive. :)

I do not know where else to ask this about the June Cozumel trip...... If it is 5 days of divinn - Monday thru Friday, what's happening on Saturday??? what will people be doing on Saturday if the departure date is Sunday? Will some from the group dive on Saturday too? or return home early? Also, how many people are in the group? ANyone from South Florida?

There's at least 2 of us from So FLA going AFAIK maybe more. And depending on the time you're scheduled to fly out on Sunday you may not want to dive Saturday as you should wait "at least" 12 hours after your last single dive to fly and 18 or more if you do repetitive dives.

Jenny, I'll dive with you if the hermit crab doesn't, but as long as you don't find any bowling balls! :shakehead::rofl3:

You usually don't dive 18-24 hours before you fly. So most won't dive on Saturday. I'm sure alot of us will find activities to do on the Island for that day. I started this thread and listed quite a few things to do.

Everyone will be staying at least a week. Sunday to Sunday unless you book extra days. We have around 50 people so far. And if you look at the map of those attending we have several from south Florida.
