Unless anyone has already mentioned it, any swimers parka (aka boat coat) works just fine over your swim suit or shorts and tee. It will also help retain body heat between dives if you strip down the top of your wet suit and put on the parka. Deccorate as needed.

I wear Payless tennis shoes that I buy when they're on sale. I usually get a new pair every two or three years. Under my TruWest dive parka I wear shorts and whichever dive T-shirt I happened to grab that morning. I spend about $250 a year for fills and about $50 every other year on clothing. I don't care what anyone thinks of me out of the water. :)

I've wanted a boat coat for a long time. After reading Max's post, I went to the TruWest website and bought myself a close out, plush fleece, fully lined, waterproof, windproof boat coat for $65. I got the coat today and since I was not in a position to dive, I wore it outside in low 40's, windy, rainy weather. I was warm and cozy without a trace of water making it inside. I can't wait to try this coat on a cold boat in San Diego, Key Largo, or elsewhere. Thanks Max.

Good diving, Craig
