Who is gong diving on the 24th?

My friends and I are going to go diving on Thanksgiving Day instead of doing the normal thing. Considering we are all single and away from family, it would be fun to all go out and so something together instead if being alone on the holiday. I just want to do a poll and see if any one else is doing the same thing.

Are you going to do the big dinner and sit at home

Go diving and forget about it.

Or try and do both

I've got some diving planned from Thu to Sun. Sat and Sun is my Cavern course, but Thu and Fri will be some "fun" dives with my wife at Ginnie.

We're BBQing Fish on the Beach.. its to shallow to dive but I may get out in the waist deep water and see if I can get pic's of the Bonnethead sharks.

Sounds good Jason. I'd like to see first hand how you guys gear up and do pre-dive briefings. (Promise to be as quiet as a mouse and not distract you once you've started)

When you guys enter I'll just wag my LPI hose like a dog behing left behind on the porch when the kids head off to school.

Maybe next time when I'm more experienced I can do the cavern part and provide some comic relief on your deco. I'll bring the net laundry bags so we can chase fish.

We'll be leaving either tonight or tomorrow early a.m. and hope to arrive 7-8ish. We're not camping at Ginnie but its a plan to go there first after checking in at River Rendezvous. This all depends on how the wife feels after being on the road with 3 maniacal kids... okay, 2 but I included myself in that count.

If not this time, we'll hook up some other time to chat.

Both. Buddy & I will dive while wives get dinner started. It will only take me an hour to fry the turkey after I get home and cleaned up. Dinner at 1600.
