Dove the Whiskey Wreck this morning. Beach was absolutely calm with very little current. This was my first time diving the wreck. Followed directions - straight out from Bahama Bob's about 150y. Swam out on the surface towing a flag. First sight was a school of spadefish. Knew we must be close. Came up on some cross members that dissapear into the sand. There was at least 5' of relief at the deepest point. Spotted tons of blennies in barnacles on the hull. Schools of spadefish, blue runners, and threadfin were always around. Spotted a seargent major, juvenile gag, couple small flounder, and jacks. Highlight for me was a few lookdowns among the spadefish. Dive lasted 67 minutes. Vis was 10-15' on the wreck with max depth at 14'. Temp on the bottom was 74f.

Thanks for the report, sounds like sand might be moving back in on the wreck... :( I'll have to go check it out.
