The current flowed Up, not down.Papa_Bear: If you don't believe me take a Globe and turn it on it's side so the equator is at the top!! Now look at it and tell me water doesn't flow down! Globe must be positioned looking east!

Haha okaaaaaay, but if you do a shore dive with the current, have an exit in mind. Returning into it can be a challenge.Hey T.O.- My wife snorkels all over while I'm diving. She never needs to know the currents as it does not ever affect her while shore snorkeling. Even shore diving at Villa Blanca and north of that is not really affected that much by current.
You have a great question but you dont really need to worry about the currents at least in the sense to your question. kev
