I am in the process of buying a 7-8mm wetsuit. I would like some input on the Oneill and Excel brands regarding durability and company support. I have had Oneill surfing wetsuits but this is my first "dive" into scuba suits. In my opinion both have strong and weak points but I would like see some comments before I make my decision. I searched to see if this has been gone over before but I could not find anything.

Thanks,

My wife has a 4-3 xcel which she loves, and when she is able to fit into it again the henderson will become a forgotten property. Can't comment on the O'Neil line, I believe they are a fine suit, no personal experience to back it up though.

I recentally went south for a break and dove with American Pro Dive in Crystal River. Their rental line was all xcel. Hundreds of 3mm suits in their rental fleet. Didn't inquire as to their age (all Icon line) but didn't see any that were wore out.

Xcell, no other options for SoCal waters, besides a drysuit.

Titanium Polar Quad Density.........Integrated hood, cross-chest zipper, and extra stretch around the heels, have fun.
