Has anyone else noticed that a thicker boot wants to float more than a thinner one? Just something else to consider...

IMO the idea "suitable for warm water wetsuit diving" is meaningless. I wear cold water, full soled 6.5mm boots in 84F water diving because they have more structure, move strain from the little feet muscles up to the calves, and are better just walking around the deck or for shore bumps under the feet. My feet are never too hot. The only reason I can imagine for not getting full soled boots is that they will be more buoyant and if you are feet floaty already. I've actually added dive socks in addition to my 6.5mm boots in warm water to cut down on blisters.I recently upgraded to Deep6 Eddy fins. With my current 2mm neoprene booties, there's some slop in the fit that I don't particularly like. My bootie moves side to side, but the length and spring tension fit well. I think this would be easily remedied with a chunkier boot, but I'm not sure where to begin my search. I'd appreciate any recommendations for a higher volume boot suitable for warm water wetsuit diving.
