You made the right choice given your requirements and preference of staying in town... May as well start where many have ended up after years and years of diving Coz! Jeanie will also get you the best rooms and rates available at the Casa if you book a dive-and-stay package through her. We've been staying at the Casa since it was built... We know the best rooms and so does she. You're going to have a blast.

We have 8 months and counting until our next December trip (that has already been booked).

Nice, yes she has been very helpful and is handling accommodations. Hopefully will get us rooms overlooking calle 7 where you can also look out at the ocean 3rd floor or higher. That's what we like. 22 years and counting. Cheers.

Those are the rooms she has always been able to secure for us. I used to be picky about the 5th floor and those corner rooms but the 4th is just as good and even the 3rd isn't bad. The key to those rooms in my opinion while they offer great water views is we tend to visit in December these days and the balconies on those rooms get blasted with sun. So, on our last day all gear can go out there bake in the sun after a morning dive and be completely dry for a next day departure. 5th floor may be nice but it is open to rain from above - the 4th floor is covered.

Could well be. I just know Aldora picked us up at the Aqua Safari pier below their shop.

The Aldora and Aqua Safari piers are separate. Aldora doesn't pick up at the Aldora pier anymore.

So, was I right? The Aldora pier that Aldora doesn't use it the one marked with a red arrow 2 blocks northeast? (I'm sure that Dave has an interesting story about the pier not used.}

Yep, you're right DD. I've also heard that pier referred to as the T-Pier.
