I took and and now teach the NAUI Nitrox program.

The text was written by Joel Silverstien and Bill Hamilton. IMO it's the best I've seen for entry level nitrox, this inlcudes PADI, TDI and IANTD texts, which I own a copy of each.

Unfortunately NAUI and GUE courses are not easy to come by in the UK
