Inman mentioned ... And the 3rd man in a 3-way often gets lost or left behind, in the real world.
I have hundreds of dives with 3 man teams, and we have never, even once been separated (okay, once on scooters for about three mins). If you or your team mates are "often" lost, or "often" left behind :shocked2:, you are diving in a manner I am not accustom to, and without a doubt, more training would help you.

Or maybe you don't speak from personal experience, but from what you read on the internet. But if it's personal experience, I want to give you hope, that is very possible and not difficult to learn to dive safely with a 3 man team.

Inman mentioned he draws strength from his 3-man CF even if all his bottles fail for him. I do not like CFs. I would sooner hang an extra tank. And the 3rd man in a 3-way often gets lost or left behind, in the real world.

If that's your experience then maybe your team should work on better situational awareness. Three man teams have been proven to be a very effective and efficient system. Maybe you can show us some sort of study that shows that three man teams aren't effective? Or maybe you're just living in wonderland?

Isn't that Michael Jackson's European compound after he sold "Neverland Ranch" in California?

No reputable agency condones 3-man "teams."

Regarding those controversial agencies that do condone, even teach, it; there you have the issue of fallacy of affirmation of the consequent. At any rate, enough said, about those.

I have always found that redundant buddy pairs (3 divers) in technical diving for the most part to be a great way to dive.....their are a few exceptions to that as in certain structural overhead environments. TDI in their instructional materials supports 3 person teams of technical divers.

Aren't you supposedly a NAUI instructor? Well you claim to be anyways...show me where in the standards it says that "Thou shall not use 3-man teams"

Since you are probably going to try to GOOGLE the answer, sorry but the standards aren't published on the internet.

You're a piece of work dude.

Here's a great way to filter out a lot of crap on Scubaboard, use this option on nereas. Sadly it doesn't block out when people quote his stuff but it does filter out the stuff everyone ignores.

Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users?

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:

Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, click on their name and choose: User List, Add to Ignore List
