I want to buy a Luxfer S80, but can't find any new ones. The used ones I see are 20+ years old.

I know that Metal Impact bought Luxfer. Does this mean the old Luxfer factory is still in operation? If so, maybe some Metal Impact cylinders are really Luxfers?

Anyone have details?

Sorry, I haven't much to tell, but the O2 tank delivered with my rebreather in 2020 is a Luxfer, I guess the're still making cylinders. I'm living in France, distribution may vary according to the country I suppose.

I believe Luxfer stopped manufacturing in the US in 2020 or 2021.

Luxfer stopped manufacturing and all of my AL are luxfer. Nothing wrong with older luxfer as long as you stay ahead of that specific date. I have a few of those 2 and they are in mint shape also. Are you So Cal by chance? I might have some for sale
