Which is harder to get into--a drysuit or pantyhose/tights?

A buddy of mine just recently made it sound as if his drysuit (a Fusion Bullet) was just as difficult to get into as pantyhose/tights. I've never worn a drysuit & he's never worn pantyhose/tights (at least as far as I know) so we are not the best ones to make a comparison. However, I've seen people get into drysuits and it doesn't look half as hard as the contortions my friends & I have gone through to get into pantyhose/tights that fit well.

I bet some of you are in a much better position to tell me which is worse...a drysuit or pantyhose/tights?

Side note: If the answer is drysuit, the chances of me ever donning such a suit will go down astronomically so choose your answer wisely.

For me. Neoprene drysuit was harder. No comparison. BTW I had to wear a section of hose over my hair to don and doff just to keep the hair out of the drysuit zipper.

So I've now learned there are different materials for dry suits. I had no idea. I've really only seen ones that are apparently made of trilaminate so had no idea that there were ones made of other materials including neoprene. (I'm mostly a warm water diver, but do occasionally dive local down the Jersey shore and in Dutch Springs, the PA quarry. When I dive cold, I wear a 7mil wet suit and heavy vest.)

I have dreams of diving Antarctica, but I've been putting it off because a dry suit does not sound fun and your neoprene dry suit (as well as my buddy's) sounds even more horrible. (Sorry.)

These are both great. You have no idea how much joy I will take in pointing these out to him. I appreciate it.

I definitely found the fusion much more difficult to put on than pantyhose. But, I have to admit I bought one years ago before they had a women's version, and I had to buy a larger size to accommodate my hips.

the trick to the bullet is to roll it down then roll it up your legs then pull it up from the inside , then push your arms and shoulders thru in one motion, takes 3 minutes to dawn now.

Your buddy needs to dive more. Obviously they haven't used it enough or they would of figured out a way to get it on quickly. Practice makes perfect.

That said the Fusion bullet is one of the harder drysuits to don.

You can also a lubricant to make the suit easier to get on if it's really that much trouble.
