jonnythan once bubbled...
edit: the point is well taken, but it isn't the whole story
I wasn't trying to make a point Jon... just trying to edjumecate Dr. Bill :D

Now if I was trying to make a point about which tank is better... LP or HP... I would have said something like:

"You are far more likely to get a LP104 pumped to 3000 that to get a HP100 pumped to 3860." or something along those lines.

BTW... I always seem to get great fills. :D

Now how do you go about convincing the LDS monkeys to fill your tanks so high?

Oh, wait... :eek:ut:

Drbill,
Sorry I did not answer yesterday, was down at Ginnie springs meeting a bunch of other Scubaboard members.

But looks like Uncle Pug answered for me, and even took the time to do the math, Thanks Uncle Pug

I don't know where you find someone to give you 4000psi, unless I leave the tank & get it topped off the next day I usually walk out with 3500 hot, that cools to 32-3300.

Almost everyshop around here will fill my LP's to 3300 hot (29-31 cool), however in the Keys most won't go past 3000 on LP's

If you find a good cave dive shop, they fill LP's to some really serious numbers (for people they know well).
