Is there a housing for the Minolta?
I've had the 570s and several other members here have them currently. Excellent cameras and will do just fine in a housing under the sea

Yes, there is a housing (several) for the Minolta :

Though the price of any of them should be realy shocking.
I know that the A570IS performs pretty well underwater.

The A570 has an excellent reputation
A570, but housings are discontinued and you may have missed out on the fire sale a few days ago.
