For beginners, anyway. I am reading more and more about Cabo not being a very good place to travel to. I was wondering, because we are gong primarily to dive, but if PVR is better, I may see if I can change my plans.
The reason we are interested in the Cabo/Puerto Vallarta area (isn't PVR just across the gulf from Los Cabos?) is the flight time to get there and back. We can make it to Cabo before noon from Seattle.
If it is significantly better, I may want to reconsider our destination.

Having been to both PV & Cabo multiple times, I'd say that PV is a more attractive town, but on balance the diving isn't anywhere near as good.

Where have you been reading that Cabo isn't a good place to which to travel?

BTW, PV is a bit over 300 miles SSE of Cabo.

Best regards.

I guess I should have worded that differently :bonk: . I've heard that Cabo is less bang-for-the-buck than say Coz or Cancun. I heard that it's more expensive and not really all that pretty, nature-wise. I shouldn't have said that it isn't a nice place to travel to :booboo:. And I havent even been there yet.

I guess I am just trying to put our group of people in the best place for the short amount of time we have to spend there. Diving being the first priority, but we can't stay under water the whole time, so I was hoping to be in a really interesting place the rest of the time :eek:ut:

It sounds like PVR doesn't have comparable diving.
