Both setups are good gear.

I can say from personal experience that Oxycheq has at best a checkered record with respect to standing behind anything they sell that isn't up to snuff. DSS, on the other hand, is a different kind of company.

Earlier this year, I bought a used DSS wing from someone here on SB. Tobin had written on the sales thread that he was concerned about a flaw in the outer covering of the wing, but I didn't think it was a big deal, so I bought it anyway. Tobin wrote to me and told me he didn't feel right about me having this wing, and he thought the abnormality might be significant. I told him I'd send the wing to him for inspection and repair, if he would promise to charge me what he would charge anyone else who did that. He agreed.

I got the wing back in a week. The flaw was gone; I'm assuming at least the outer bladder was replaced. There was no charge.

That's DSS. That's customer service, and that's class. That's why we own a whole bunch of DSS gear.

If I had to choose between DSS & Oxycheq ....... I would get Halcyon:D

I bought some things from DSS and was quite satisfied. But Noooo, DSS couldn't let it go at that, they called me a few days after the sale just to see if they could do anything else and if I was happy. I was actually taken aback that a company would do that. Kudos to Deep Sea Supply. I'm sure they don't do that with every sale, but I was certainly most favorably impressed.

I like 'em.
