I'm chiming in a little late here, but I use the basic Uwatec BT: http://www.scubapro.com/products/comps/digital_depth_gauge/digital_depth_gauge.asp

I bought it brand new for $90 from a local ScubaPro shop. They had 2 that sat on their shelf for a year and no one ever expressed any interest! (not too many DIR-types here in Nashville) Last I was in that shop, they were still trying to sell the other one.

OK, for those aladin tec wearers: scubatoys has the tec for a good price, but it's just the capsule (no wrist mount). Is the wrist mount that you have just a capsule holder? I will probably butcher any wrist mount that comes with any tec I buy to put bungees on instead. Does anyone know of the best way to mount this on my wrist if I purchased just the capsule?

Thanks,
Chris

Deep Sea Supply mount.

The Aladin TEC will fit in the "Elastomeric Mount for Uwatec Digital Bottom Timers" - just ask Tobin to punch a hole on the side for the IrDA.

OK, I ordered and rec'd my aladin tec. I am wondering what the best software is for logging my dives is. The smartTrak doesn't look bad, but you can't export any real data from it and that bugs me. Thoughts?

Thanks
Chris

Let me know if they still have it next time your in there. I might be interested in buying it for that price and having it sent to me, no sense in having new equipment dry rot on the shelf:D
