Layla, if you want to do muck diving, the Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach, FL has superb muck diving. You go in about 90 minutes before high tide. The vis is about 40' but since you are looking for small critters the limited visibility is not a problem. The max depth is something like 26' and it is a shore dive. There is an island you dive from. It has a parking lot, fresh water showers and rest rooms. It is a great place to hone your skills in muck diving before going off to an exotic locale. There is a surprising variety and number of critters there: morays, crabs, lobster, arrow crabs, coral shrimp, jawfish, frog fish, bat fish, sea horses, blennies, scorpion fish etc. I am not saying that you should go to the Blue Heron Bridge, but it is a good place to hone your skills at muck diving and it is semi local.
