I met a well travelled snorkeller recently and he rated Alor very highly and my diving buddy also said the same thing.
If you want to shake hand with a dugong then Alor is the place.

If you want to shake hand with a dugong then Alor is the place.

71 dives in Alor so far and not a single dugong sighting for me yet. Alor is great…one of my favorites and on the rotation.

I’m headed to Ambon this fall and also miss DIA. Figuring out options….
