I used to have two mannesmann supersteel tanks that I sold when I moved overseas last year. THe dive season has just started in Ireland now and after diving for two days with Fabers and around 13kg (28pounds) of weight I'm dying for old supersteel tanks where I only had to use 12pounds. I used three different tanks over the weekend - a 'short' 12l faber, a normal 10l faber and a 12l faber and didn't really like any of them.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Mel

Until recently, Faber tanks which had negative buoyancy were sold in the USA . These were 12 ltr, 7.25 OD cylinder, 3180+ psi, 100 cf. They had USA type 3/4 NPS thread. These should be just what you need. Heiser (Beuchat) sells a tank with similar characteristics.
