where to find split D-rings?

IMO, it would be better and less trouble if you remove the plastic and sew back a welded d-ring, avoid the split design, under load, they can split open and loose your gear

If I were to get D rings, I'd go to West Marine. Their rings won't rust.

The only SS D rings I can find at the two area West Marine locations is 1 inch. What part of the store did you find the 2 inch rings?ItsBruce:

I think I've seen them in the catalog. I've got a meeting today, but afterward, I'll drive down to the marina and check out the various marine stores and see what I can find.
