Where to buy in the US

What is everybody's preferred online store to buy equipment at fair prices? For the BC I want, I have seen a very big range in prices. I found three shops with identical prices for the BC but I'm wondering if there are shops they don't really come up in searches that would have better prices for BC's and regs.

DRIS is excellent and many SBers shop there. I'm biased, because they're also my local dive shop. A little dive shop in a suburb of Chicago with a wide range of items and excellent customer service.

What BC do you want? That might help people tell you where to get the best price. Some manufacturers keep tight control of their pricing and getting a better price is more complicated than just finding a cheaper place.

those should cover basically all of your ground. there's also Piranha, Dive Gear Express, Leisurepro and several others, but those are the big ones.
Which BC are you looking at?

in Canada, Dan's Dive Shop is also very good and would probably recommend starting there

It's a Cressi Lady's BC. I found it cheapest on a website in Estonia but not sure I want to go that route.

Thanks, I need to see how it fits but I think the Cressi travelight lady. The price range is huge.

And I did check the prices at Dan's (he didn't carry the BC but I did check other products) but it's very expensive. Something that is $375 in the US (500CDN) is $590 at Dan's plus tax so it's about $667. I get to the US a lot and can bring stuff back duty free and not pay the horrendous 13% tax in Ontario

Planet Multi Store will probably have free shipping on that. They run specials regularly, too, you might get a few % more off if you wait.

I never bought from them, as I understand they're Italy's answer to LeisurePro.
