Where do people do research before diving?

Hi all,

Just wondering which website or apps people use when doing research on dive sites and which dive shop to go with? Find it difficult to find one website/app which provides all the information and spend a lot of time on it. Especially on what dive shops as I try to go with ones which have environmental/social projects.

Hoping to spend a few month in Indonesia and plan on doing as much diving as we can. Clearly, Covid-19 has put this on hold for now but just trying to look forward to something
