Not really - 5-11+ knots of current so anything cool gets swept away. Don't forget to bring your ice pick. I do however lay line and use pvc pipe to setup courses and stuff and then go through them blind - it's fun. You can salvage fishing equipment off the bottom - there's ton of gear down there.

Yea it's a pretty good spot. it's about 50ft from my living room out the door wall.
I found a free afternoon this past Sunday just as my neighborhood quarry has become warm enough to dive wearing only a swim suit and tee shirt. I was inaugurating my new VDH backplate. Al 63 and no BC. Eventually turned into a working dive, as I spent a bit of time searching for someone's eyeglasses.

Hit my local lake this past Saturday...as I was preparing to head down to the shore, I hear someone from the water yell, "help!" It was one of those "did I just hear what I think I heard" moments, and then I saw someone being carried limp from the water. Long story short, turns out to be a 52 yo non-diver woman who had overheated, waded in the water (which was about 85 degrees) to cool off, and then had some sort of panic/asthma attack. Nearby DM got her on O2, 911 was called, and about 8 paramedics plus the local Sherriff's dept. boat came by to help. All in all, she ended up being fine, but it certainly made for an interesting afternoon.
My one dive (couldn't do two due to the lateness of getting in after the emergency) was uneventful...stayed above the thermocline at 41 feet and just tooled around, hanging out with a curious sunfish. Best thing about the dive was how quiet it was under the surface.

Spent the last 6 days solo diving in Bonaire. It was wonderful, got buzzed by a pod of 20+ dolphins on a 7am dive at H. Hooker. They swam past once, then looped around for a second pass. Made for a very nice start to the day.

Do you need to present a solo certification to go solo in Bonaire?

No, not for shore diving, they never asked and they filled my pony. My experience was you'll hear more negative crap from other divers than anything else.
But if you want to do a boat dive, they will ask for cert. No card no solo.

Last weekend I was able to get in a great couple of Wreck dives.
The Castlereagh and the Kyarra out of Swanage in the UK. About 50 minutes on them both. The vis on the Castelreagh was a good 10m you could see across the wreck from port to starboard. There was a lovely school of bib by the boilers.
Found a tile on the Kyarra and somebody else on the boat found a bottle.
