I heard about this lemon shark migration passing through Jupiter, Florida. So, my question is:
When is the best time to see those guys parading there?

I read this: Lemon Sharks Swarm Florida "Lovers Lane" but it didn't mention the time.

If anyone have seen them, please post some pictures. I'd like to do this trip next year.

Thanks
Dan

Peak January-February, but starts as early as December and can extend into March. For reasons that I do not understand, Lemon Shark aggregation is not as active as it was a number of years ago.

Dan,
From late December through February. These guys are pretty big.
Some lemons seem to stay longer. For instance, just about 5 weeks ago, my wife and I were hunting lionfish in Jupiter when 2 lemons came to inspect. We changed strategies, floated our catch out of the way and stayed at depth for 20 more minutes or so. The lemons kept patrolling around till we surfaced. Most of the time, these guys are long gone, but a few seem to pick up permanent residence in Florida. Took this photo a few years ago, it was during the winter months.
Cheers

Wow, nice shot Ricardo! I'll be coming back to Jupiter in the winter time then for sure.
