That's a link to one of the inactive projects. I think the reasons are self evident. If you wanna try to get into a 10inch spring vent, go for it. Talk to those dudes, see what they can offer in terms of tips, arrange access, and make things happen.
There are established divers that have done good, but will not give permission and will not extend the project themselves. But the claim is always "the project is active" and they stake claim by "proper cave etiquette". So, when does their belly aching negate proper etiquette and turn to cave squatter? I am looking for the etiquette rule on project length without any REAL activity.
Can you give a SPECIFIC example? Clearly I'm not going to tell Poucher to get out of the way at Oleno because they haven't walled the thing out because historically, when conditions allow they've made excellent progress. When people rant but don't explain, I get suspicious and wait for specifics before jumping into an uneducated conversation.
