I like how it has a built-in stab depth gauge.
We were all part of the scuba police then, each violation had a specific stab depth, ie snorkel on the wrong side 2”, split fins to the hilt! It was a tougher sport back then, you whipper snappers today have it to easy.

:wink:

sounds like bicycle racing in the 80's.

For my personal diving I use a small titanium "Hogarthian" style knife with the ever classic Trilobite on the wrist. For the 30 years I was a diver for the Fire Dept. the most used cutting tool underwater were EMT shears.

I have 2 line cutters, a mini scuba-pro titanium knife, and then these shears. I made a custom sheath for them as well. They cut through anchor-ropes like butter, and no rust so far.

definately Not the biggest one, this was given to me two years ago by a client in exchange of service, when I set up his gaming PC.

the steel (Taiwan) needs to be rinsed after each dive, and time to time oiled to prevent rust;
otherwise it is perfect for cutting lines and through abandoned nets to free entangled fish.
Normally designed to be fixed on a BCD or a regulator hose... but I don't own mine personal yet,
so it's actual place is on my left inside calf (and a flexible tuba on the outside)

the wrist strap is from an old Canon A650 camera :whistling:

Nothing fancy.
Victorinox kitchen knife , $5 AU , cheap, sharp, blunt tip and sold everywhere [and a line cutter].
I have one of those in the post above, given to me as a birthday gift, sits in a tool kit, nice tool for some jobs in the garage.
