This is an Orb Weaver Spider that was living off of our back patio for several months this summer.

He measured about 2-2.5 inches in diameter!

how do you attach a picture so that it is thumbnail size

If you upload it directly it will be TN size. If you right click the thumbnail sized picture from your gallery, use the address that you find in the propterties and incert it in your post using

it will appear as a thumbnail.

I have my kids as my SS.

The orange numbers at the bottom of the picture is a count down timer for the next trip (days, hours & minutes).

yep, it's a real ship alright. not a photograph, but an artists rendering of the grand dame herself, as she looks today almost fifty years later.
