I am 31 and did my OW certification on June 15th and wish I would have done it many years ago.

Nearly 54 certified at 46, fell in love with the underwater world, got myself a camera, spend ALL my money on diving.

Well according to my birth certificate it says 53 but I think it lies because I’m sure I’m 35 with gray hair and beard!

I am 47 and husband is 50. Both very fit. We start our OW class on Tuesday! 40's are great!

I'm 53 and took up scuba with my son and a bunch of his socuting buddies when I was 44.

Someone asked about the average age of divers. I think the average age may not mean much. I believe most people who take it up do so as teenagers or don't do it until their kids are teenagers. It is a tough sport to get into when you have little kids.
