Hear, hear!!! I third that motion.
Christi/BlueXT Sea * fantastic.
She will go the extra mile for her customers. Absolutly LOVE her and the OP she runs!

Hey girlie!!!!!!!! How are you? Are you back from your Fiji trip yet???? I hope you're doing fabulous!

Stayed at Villa Blanca and dove Papa Hogs two weeks ago. I agree about the restaurant. Fine food. The hotel was very conveniently next door to PH's and across from the pier. PH's did a fine job but their surface intervals would sometimes be 40 minutes which is unacceptable and I felt rushed the entire trip. Timed dives and the DMs were a bit grumpy. I'm going with BlueXT Sea next time.

I stayed at the Villa Blanca and dove with PapaHoggs last year. Had a good time. The employees at PapaHogg's were friendly and helpful. I dove two dives a day and the DM's did a good job. I like the concept of the fast boats and a DM with each small group. Margaret seemed to run the daily operation while I was there and was very helpful. Didn't get to meet Mike (Mr. Grumpy by some people's description.) The weekly package rates were affordable, the VillaBlanca room was fine and the food at PapaHogg's deck were decent. The hotel restaurant had great food and was run by a real gentleman, Manuel, and his pal the chef. Can't remember chef's name for sure but it might have been Arturo. Anyway, when I go back this summer I'll be staying at the VillaBlanca and diving with PapaHogg's, fer shure.

Garrobo,
Margaret and Mike both do their share and handle their responsibilities well. However calling some you haven't met grumpy is pure heresay and disrespectful. Sit with the guy have a drink or four and I know your mind will change. Mike is very focused and preoccupied with his thought process. I'm with Christi on the internal issues following the storm, everyone struggled and came out of it the best they could, there was no government subsidies or other assistance, certainly some nerver were frayed and under stress people rise or sink based on their own personal gifts, skills, and psyche.

Personally I have never had any problems with Hogs and they are our groups shop of choice. Always early picking us up at the dock, great DM (Donnie) and friendly captains. We tell them where we want to dive and they take us there, no questions.

If you want good service you need to be friendly and treat people like you like to be treated and throw them a tip after each dive day.
