Blue Angel will not take care of your gear. I know that some ops do but the names escape me at the moment.

Living Underwater, Aldora, Blue XT Sea, Liquid Blue, Bottom Time Divers, and I'm sure there are several more. The shops that rinse and store your gear are going to cost you more then Blue Angel of Papa Hogs. In addition to the gear rinsing and storage they usually also include snacks, water, soft drinks, towels, beach SIs, etc. Some also dive with steel tanks - LP or HP, 95-120's depending on which dive op you go with. Up to you whether the you feel the extras are worth the extra $10-25 per 2-tank trip.

That's an interesting location choice and business arrangement... basically right on the premises of their previous employer and making no bones about leaving with no love lost. Has the makings for some awkward moments for the customers, don't you think?

FWIW...
A 2 tank trip with Blue Angel - $53
A 2 tank trip with Aldora - $87
Diving the reefs of Cozumel - priceless

The ops noted start at $75. And I don't think Blue Angel's "off the street" price is $53, is is?

ops notes? No comprende.

$87 was what was on Aldora's website last I looked, but that's been a while. I thought that BA charged the same for everybody.

My apologies if I posted erroneous info.

Firefyter:
Is this the same Opal and Pumba that used to work for BA as well?
Yeah, same Pumba. I'm not sure I ever had the pleasure of knowing Opal.

Blue Angel does not have any preferential pricing. As long as I've been diving with them it's $53 and I don't stay at Caribe Blu. I wish they did for loyal, repeat customers like me. :D
