Trash I pick up during the dive.
I always carry titanium shears and a mesh bag in my Apeks shorts pockets to pick up trash. Depending on the dive, I will also carry a spare spool, 1 meter AP DSMB, and a spare mask.

SMB in right pocket. Whistle in the left.

Depends. For Caribbean vacation diving, small knife and SMB. That's it. I keep spare mask and other stuff on the boat. Some of the people I see geared up on the charter boats look like Christmas trees.

I only have pockets when I am diving dry or tec diving wet (tec shorts with pockets). Typically, spare mask, wet-notes, slates, or misc stuff I might need for a class - rope/liftbag for teaching S&R etc.

Most of the time no need. SMB & finger spool hang on butt D-ring, spare lights on harness held with epdm bands, etc.

Not me. All of the assessories are in the BCD pockets, slim & trim.
