Regulators made of Ti-45Nb. This is a titanium alloy that was recently developed for the gold mining industry for use in autoclave gold processing, but has applications in other super corrosive environments, as well as in medicine. Adding a significant amount of niobium, about 45 wt%, to titanium results in a really amazing alloy. Compared to commercially pure (CP) titanium, Ti-45Nb has a significantly reduced modulus of expansion, which is great for medical implants, and dramatically increased compatibility and resistance to oxygen rich environments, which is great for diving. It is also stronger and harder than CP titanium.

A regulator made of Ti-45Nb could be used in all situations, even on O2 deco bottles, and be impervious to corrosion. The ultimate regulator material...

Atomic Aquatics should get on it.

Cave diving, or wreck diving video game.

The game would allow the user to see the cave or wreck environment from their own perspective. I don't play many video games, but it's a player perspective similar to the shooter in Quake.

The virtual dive environment would allow divers to penetrate, work with team members, scooter about, dig and take into consideration vital aspects like: gas management, buddy contact, line wraps, conservation, staging, gear choice etc.

If the diver is not paying attention...they will meet with less-than-successful endings. Could be fun, but I definitely see only a niche market.

A teleportation device that would allow you to make a quick dive in Palau...on your lunch hour!

(why not start big ya know!)

Fully Self Contained Futuristic NEWT Suit. No bulky tanks or hoses. Styled and lined to the appearence of a Storm Trooper suit. Micro controlable propulsion from Full Stop to Cavation. The power source is Hydrogen and the byproduct 02 for your breathing pleasure.

Due to the fully encapsulating suit, Depth and time is no longer a conscern. The whole contraption goes in a garmet bag like a nice suit folding up for travel.

Now that would be WAY cool.

A spray on wetsuit that you peel off and throw away when done ;)

As others have stated, a reasonable priced, reliable, safe CC rebreather would be great! Perhaps one that didn't require you to carry buckets of absorbant with you on a trip?

How about a subcutinous implanted sensor that would monitor actual gas levels in your blood and send the info wirelessly to your computer and/or RB?

Or GILLS!

Remote control dive buddy.

Bingo! The RCDB comes in both male and female models and each can work my dive computer with just a flick of the wrist.

Just sayin'...

Oh, and a Current Reversal Module (kinda like the Weirding Modules from "Dune").

I'm in with the p-valve for women . . .

But how about something less fragile and more long-lasting than latex for drysuit seals? I'm getting SICK of replacing mine.
