I use the Sherwood Maximus regulator which comes with the metal fins that help retain moisture. Helps with cottonmouth.

Reflectance imaging does exactly that.. however, it is probably not as detailed as you would hope for. Take a look at these charts: http://www.floridanearshore.com/MSilvia:A convenient way to get a detailed view of underwater terrain. Not just "80 foot sounding here, 76 foot sounding over there", but something that would show where boulders, wrecks, reefs, etc are as easily as if there wasn't any water there.
Maybe I need to save up for a good sidescan.

But they are kind of a pain to keep clean, and a bit bulky. I've found the Apollo Bio Filter solves the dry mouth for me.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++charris400:Years ago Scubapro had a reg that would deliver moist air to prevent dry mouth. The reg was introduced in the late 70's. I guess it never caught on. Anyone remember the name of this old reg? I think it may have even warmed the air. WABA comes to mind? Warm Air something something?
