You are right, with this type of shark you would not be able to blend into your surroundings; I'm just quoting what my dive instructor told us about swimming with a group of reef sharks and what to do when they start to get aggressive...
Now to change my post and really answer this question correctly and tactfully, I need to tell everyone what they should do and I learned it from a movie....
NOW LISTEN VERY CLOSELY BECAUSE THIS WILL SAVE YOU LIFE:
Swing around and carefully remove your BC while holding on to your buddy, then remove your tank from the BC, as the shark gets closer and opens his mouth toss this high pressure tank into his mouth. Remember to buddy share air off your parnters octo during this manuever.
Wait for him to do a 360 degree turn and then pull out your spear gun and point it at the shark as he continues to chew on your tank; then as you pull the trigger remember to think in your mind since you cannot talk underwater; smile your son of a bit#$%...
Now this will only work if you are wearing an Aluminum 80 since this won't work with a HP steel....
Okay I hope I made some of your laugh..... - You did
MG
Hopefully you
