My roommate and his gf got back from a FL trip, and were happy with their 3mm suits plus hooded vests (another 4mm over the core).
What wetsuit?

You should ask that this be moved to the Florida section - where all the Floridians are. Anywho, no more than a five or you will fry. I am warm in nature and will be in a 3 shorty unless it warms up rather quick than just my bikini.
I was in Ft Lauderdale last weekend and wore my Farmer Jane the first dive (1hr) after that, for the following three dives, which were one hour each, I was in my shorty. Others in the group were wearing 5's I believe and were fine. You couldn't sit in them though or again it would get too hot. I believe water temp was similar to bath water at 77 degrees.
If you would like your thread moved, just ask a mod. That way you can get with peeps who dive here all them time.
