What does everyone eat prior to diving? Last time I went, I ate a full breakfast with milk, yogurt, eggs, cereal and fruit and I was sick to my stomach during and after the dive..I'm talking feed the fish after I came up!.....never again!

What food will not upset your stomach but will give you energy and stomach fill....bread, bananas, protein bar maybe????

I eat a high protein diet a few days prior to diving. I eliminate carbs and sugars almost entirely from my diet (no breads, rice, noodles, sugar, etc.). Carbs offer short term energy while proteins offer long term energy. I eat eggs, bacon, steak, cheese, and I snack on peanuts. I drink water. The difference for me is astounding. This diet also helps people who are hypoglycemic (SP?) and those with diabetes -- or so I'm told.

Take care.

I'm with Yooper here, except for the bacon-too greasy and it seems to come up at the wrong possible time....

Morning dives: Breakfast at Denny's or IHOP. 2 Eggs over easy, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Buttered White taost and English Breakfast tea.

Afternoon dives: 6 White Castle cheesburgers 20oz lemonaide.
