I have an old tank that I've been wanting to screw around with. I thought it would be cool as a bell, but don't know where to start. What's the most practical way to cut into this thing? Plasma torch?

I had a buddy at the machine shop cut my cylinder. It is perfect, he did it at no charge...

Can that failed tank be turned into a torpedo? Hahaha...just joking....
 
cut the bottom off, remove the valve, hang it from the valve opening, hit it with a metal object. and it becomes a great bell that can be heard from quite a distance.
