Foo, "whoofing"? Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Well, maybe if they read this thread they will call it that... I confess that "whoofing" is a late night "fooism". Didn't wanna get zonked. But it got the point across, huh?

Who knows, maybe it'll catch on? LOL.

Awww, c'mon, calling people names isnt going to get anyone anywhere...

and anyhow, you cant help who you fall in love with.

HOWEVER, you can help what you do about it.

I think she should back off and not mess around with a married man with kids, if he decides to leave the wife and take up a new relationship then go for it, divorcees are people too.

He should not mess around, it hurts everyone. If he is not happy with his marrage he should leave then he can shag the crack of dawn till the cows come home.

Morpheus, you should stay out of it, especially if you have romantic feelings for the girl, the only way to get involved without creating a big mess would be to send photos to the guy and the girl anonimously (like LazyKevin suggested), that way they can realise that people know about it, and then perhaps they will make the right choice.

Well, in fairness, humans are not meant o be nor designed to be monogomous.

If that's your opinion, you're entitled to it. But, those who feel this way should not get married. Doesn't matter to me if you're monogomous or not if you're unmarried.

If married couples choose to have extramarital liaisons in a consensual manner, then that's their business. But when you involve secret affairs, it becomes the cheated on spouse's business, also.

Sneaking around is the first clue that there's something amiss. If they are above-board, and know it, then they won't have to sneak around.

Mind your own damn business.

What goes on between consenting adults is their concern.

Good gracious, if some people spent half the amount of energy and mindspace they use meddling on their work or financial affairs we'd be a race of extremely wealthy individuals!!

Goofy,
"1-Leaving anonymous letters is for cowards..I have no respect for someone that does not speak their mind and that is not up front. Nobody has to wonder what I am thinking because I say it in person."

I'm sorry you feel that this is "coward's" way of resolving this problem. As I see it, it is a method by which the male partner of the liasion can be made aware that his actions are known and at the same time not reveal what person, on either side of the couples groups of friends, made the knowledge public. It can save a freindship. It is possible, however, the the two involved parties could try to deduce the identity of the informant and thereby "guess" who it might be, but it would be a guess, not empirical evidence.

We all have our opinions of how one would resolve this. This is mine. It is an opinion. I generally attempt to employ tact and discretion before I move on to the more brutal methods of solution.

you should tell the wife...make it anonymous.theres no use in talking to ur friend about it and threatening her by saying that you'll tell if she doesnt stop because, she could just lie to you by saying shes stopped when she hasnt...but, whatever you do...im sure youll make a good decision

It is interesting to note that some here think that when someone stated that humans are "not designed nor meant to be monogomous", two people replied that it was the other persons "opinion".

Care to back up the inference that there is no evidence to suggest that humans are not designed to be monogomous? Or was those two replies just empty rhetoric?

There are some interesting theories about human behavior, the differences between the sexes, and energy investment in reproduction, that explain the great stereotypes of women being "picky and hard to get", while men are designed to "spread it around"

If you analyse reproduction with respect to calories expended, it explains a lot.

Also, there are many cultures in the world today that practice both polygamy (multiple wives) and polyandry (multiple husbands)

IMO, one was too many for me... but Im just a serial monogamist
