I have a yellow steal tank with DOT-3AA 2400 {serial number} GALV {hydro date}

It is an 8inch tank, 25 inches tall with boot.

I was thinking its a PST 95 but doesnt have the IA 81 that PST has on their tanks. Any ideas?

unfortunately you haven't told us anything that really matters. It could very well be a PST and you'll know that buy seeing the Pst logo stamped somewhere on the crown, but could also be a few others in that size range

Maybe there is some confusion. If it is yellow, it is not likely galvanized. Steel, not steal. What is the hydro date (that can narrow down who might have made it when)? Not sure why you think the IA 81 designates a PST tank; it looks more like a born-date.

What are ALL the markings on the tank?

There are no other markings other then a diamond with a 0 in it.

I have and have seen quite a few painted tanks by PST sold through Sherwood... Yellow, Black, White, Blue, all PST's

can you get any better pictures of the diamond? If it's a diamond with a C in it, it's probably a Coyne

I think your "diamond with a 0 in it" is actually a diamond with a C in it. That denotes the tank as made by Coyne.
The 2(symbol)94+ is the month/year of manufacture, or Feb 1994.The plus is missing from the August 2014 rehydro, so no "official" overfill allowed.
The weight of the tank will be a clue as to its size. See also Help me identify steel tank manufacturer.
To be sure of the volume, you really have two choices: transfill to a known cylinder and work it out via the pressures, or fill it with water and see how much it holds.

It's 50lbs full...a dang baot anchor. And upon closer inspection it does look like a c in the diamond.
