I use an Atomic B2. It breaths the same on the surface as it does at 100'. To give you an idea how much I love my B2; if I had to dump all of my gear at the bottom in an emergency, I would take to time of unscrew my B2 to take it with me!!!!

I will have Cressi-sub ellipse regulator with octo too. I am waiting for it to be here, it should arrive here from mail this week. I can't wait to check it out with my other equipments including wetsuit, sherwood wisdom, and everything you name it that we need for dives.

Normally USD Micra Adj, but the best bargain we have in the family is a (really) cheap unbranded Taiwanese reg which cost less than US$100 and outperforms anything else we have tested to 40m+. My wife loves it and refuses to change. It's been in regular use for 3 years without a hitch, been serviced once purely as a precaution and is coming up to a second routine service.
I haven't decided what to brand it - the shop had a full range of stickon logos so you can decide if it's Scubapro / Aqualung / Mares or whatever...
You know, so people think you bought an expensive reg.

Cold water/technical diving: Apeks ATX100 for back gas, DS4/TX50 for deco bottles. An old junker for the argon bottle.

Warm water/recreational diving: ScubaPro MK20/G250/G250.

I use a Poseidon Duration (7 port model) as my primary, a Poseidon Odin/Jetstream as my secondary. I've also got an older Sherwood Magnum II that I acquired for nothing awhile back that are going to be turned into my deco bottle regs.

I'm from Central WI - I've used my regs on just about everything - ice diving, cave diving, wreck diving, saltwater, and even diving in 32f degree water in a river. No problems yet.

Dacor Viper Tec Metal (just bought it new last month at LDS). Interestingly enough, It was making a lot of noise when I "breathed" it (honking and squeaking). Dive instructor (during pool session) heard me breathing it underwater and proceeded to trade regs and try it out. She had me leave it at shop to get harmonics checked out. Well, they tweaked it and now it performs great ! (Something like spring in backwards or the like ?). It also seems to breathe better upside down, etc. Put a few dives on it since then and really happy with it now...

MR22/Abyss, super breather at all depths, solid metal construction. Hose used to feel stiff but am fine after I installed a Sea Cure mouthpience. I expect many years of service. :dazzler1:

I use a Zeagle ZX50D and have no complaints. Its an easy breather and dry in any position I can get myself in. Great reg.
