...for a cruise. December 16 through 23. East caribbian. Two dives, deepest is something like 60-80 feet. I have a 5mil two piece...I don't know air or water temps in december, and I don't know if I need a wetsuit or just a skinsuit or what. Advice?

I went swimming/snorkeling in the Bahama's in December It was a little cool at first but, after becoming numb it was no problem. LOL LOL

Check this sight for average water/air temps.

I would think a 5mm would be enough. Don't forget a hood a lot of heat escapes through your head.

We did an E. Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago in December and were comfortable in 3mm full suits. However, if you just have a 5mm, you'll be fine...shouldn't be too warm at all in the water.
