What kind of insurance is everyone getting?

I would like to get some divers insurance, but which is the best???

Don't know if it's "the best" but a lot of Divers Use DAN (divers alert network).

It's my dive insurance of choice.

I f you are asking about medical diving insurance then I would recommend DAN (Divers Alert Network). They have a reasonably priced plan and the membership money goes to fund diving medical research to help keep us all safer.

If you are talking insurance for your dive gear I can't help you there since I am still researching that type of insurance.

My wife, daughter and I all all covered by the DAN preferred plan (diving medical insurance).

its $70 is low cost and when my friend was injured she was thankful that she did .. it was good for months of recovery and 100+ thousand dollars

Dan Preferred is a great plan for 70 bucks a person. As US health insurance do cover decompression chambers. But for the most European, the Master plan is all that is need. All you need if for Dan to cover you till you get home.

I have the Preferred plan with DAN, and I agree, what they cover you for $70/year is a pretty good bargain. Hell, it's cheaper than renter's insurance which is pretty cheap. For equipment insurance, I use H2O Insurance (need to have DAN to get it)...insuring about $3,000 worth of gear cost me around $130/year. Not bad considering I can front $130 if need be, but I sure can't front 3 grand again.
