Used to have a stack of aluminium 11 litre (6 off)
Bought 2 sets of steel 12.2 fabers (one double set, and 2 singles)
Bought 2 - 5.7 deco cylinders
Bought 1 - 7 litre deco cylinder
Bought a twin 10.5 steel set
Was given 1 - 2.7 litre deco/backup cylinder
Minister for finance suggested sternly I sell some so the original 6 aluminium's went. Now I regret it as they could have been used for deco or stage tanks.
Will have to now do some underhanded purchasing to recover stocks.
Luckily I O2 clean all my tanks/valves and inspect them all too so can keep yearly costs down.
Two HP 100s. I normally dive a single HP 100 on a dive.
1 AL 19 pony which is slung if it is a deeper or solo dive.
2 AL 80s from my earlier diving. Use them as lenders, to put the regs on when I rinse, etc.
I was just looking over my tanks yesterday and so far I have:
3 AL6 for inflation
4 3l steel for the rebreather
4 AL14 for the rebreather and inflation
1 AL30 for bailout
4 AL40 for bailout
3 AL80 for bailout
1 steel LP72 for single tank vintage diving
4 Steel HP100 singles
2 sets of Steel HP119 doubles for diluent banks
I have 2 steel 72s, I like them better then aluminum tanks. I have one 63 & 80 aluminum that I got with other equipment I purchased but I have never used them and they are for sale. Also 2 aluminum 30s left over from a triple 30 setup I used as a confined space bailout. Last I have 3 300cu/ft storage bottles that I rack together to dive off surface supplied. Use the 30s for shallow water shore and kayak dives, the 72s for your average medium depth dives and the 300s for deep dives. I used to have a lot more tanks and other equipment but have been getting rid of a lot of excess gear over the past decade.
2 x PST HP100, purchased to give me more air to try and keep up with my son's air sipping ways while he stayed on the smaller tanks.
2 Faber HP117, MORE AIR!!! and I love the way they trim out.
Regular use now has me using the HP117, son using the HP100. AL80's are spares if we have a busy weekend planned or road trip, or if someone needs a loaner to come diving with us. Thinking of dropping 2, but that would leave us short on a weekend road trip of 2 x 2 tank days.
